No idea. But on their ad in Modified Mag they stated that they lowered the price.

The Fast Intentions Intimidator system is hand built to order here in SoCal...the only one I know of that isn't done overseas or mass production line.

HKS is very good quality - I'm suprised too...

It is hard to mass produce any product without some percentage of defects. The mark of a great company will be revealed if HKS replaces your exhaust no questions asked and fast, free shipping. My 2 cents. Lo

As I said before came in a BIG Hks box, had shipping label from Hks to the company I bought it from, had Hks logo on instructions, Hks stickers on the exhaust itself. This from HKS I am going to give them a call Monday for them to warranty.

Well it's impossible to tell whether it is a fake or not from the pics that you posted.

Also, no company big or small is flawless. Just contact the dealer that you purchased it from and have them take care of it for you.

If it's a knock off it's a good one! This isn't my first go around. I have been building and modifying imports for a long time know. (Ten + years) Don't think of me as a Noobo. The vender's I deal with have been in the business for a long time as well. I will call HKS Monday and talk to them. Just want my fellow car enthusiasts to be aware!!!

Thank You all for the replies and input. I will keep you up to date!

I have know idea, I would most likely think it is made in china. I hope you get a refund or a exchange because the quality shown in those pictures is not acceptable for the amount of money that exhaust cost

hks is outsource made in taiwan and shipped to japan and repackaged then shipped out the international market, that's the mass production end of over 90% of "JDM" products...but I have to admit pictures 2 and 3 are hilarious looking...so shotty...

I'm pretty sure that is totally incorrect.
