Well I just got home with my very expensive Hks Hi Power exhaust. I am looking it over and find Very bad quality workmanship. I did not expect this from hks.

Any comments?

contact whoever you bought it from and have them deal with HKS. Sorry dude, you must be one of the few who have this problem. I don't know anyone else complain about craftmanship on HKS, including mine.

 

hhmmm when i first got mine everything looked flawless . i'm surprised that's hks make crap quality like this.

 

The one i got is just awesome in all the aspects. Which exhaust system doesn't produce on mass production?

 

Hmmmm . . . I got mine last February and I examined everything quite closely prior to installing it. Everything was in order and the quality was above par. Perhaps, with the rush of orders, HKS is building these units too quickly. Good luck!

Did you buy it new or used? I bought mine slightly used but I made sure it was the real deal. Before I put mine on I inspected every inch of the exhaust and I have to say the workmanship is flawless. You either got a really bad one or somebody hosed you in the deal.

 

Came in a very big HKS box!

 

That is unacceptable for a $1,500 exhaust!

 

Then you really got a bad one. The pics you posted looked nothing like mine. Time to call HKS and use that warranty.

 

my bad dude ^^ i'm slow at this kindda thing If you wanna get HKS try look up RSR, my friend got one and it sound pretty good.

 

They lowered the price on the HKS - maybe that's why...

Most mass produced H pipes look like ****. That ones especially bad. I'd be pretty pissed. Ive already promised my self (after going thru 2k in exhausts) that if i get a new car, the exhaust will be custom because I like to know whose making my exhaust.
