Default Nismo High Flow Cats Info Request

GreetZ,
First of all, allow me to zip up my flame suit. I have been searching the forums up and down and have yet to come up with a single source for information regarding the Nismo high flow cats. YES, I already know how expensive they are, this is not the point. I would like to find any members who have them installed and if possible get sound clips and/or experiences.

The problem with the search, is the fact that any search with the word "nismo" is like trying to search for the word "****" on google.

Postem' if you gottem'

This would explain the lack of info.

Damn it, there has to be SOMEBODY (Xfiles music plays in the background).

I am weary of how raspy these things would sound due to the google translation of the nismo.co.jp website:

Not to mention the fact that I beleive that Maryland will be forcing me to have an actual emissions test.

Since there is no such think as a smog legal aftermarket cat, you can just run whatever one you want.

Hop Up Racing has it listed on their site for around $1200. I'd go for the Crawfords since they're cheaper and no one seems to know anything about the Nismo cats.

Default High quality!!!!!

If money is not issues get them, I have a set on my 2004 350Z when my car was NA. I replaced them with APS test pipes and APS TT. I do not have a sound clip but, it sound similar to a Porsche C4 NA when is set to bypass the CATS. Yes, they expensive but you get what you pay. In my personal opinion it is the best sound when combine with the NISMO exhaust. My opinion my change when I hear my new exhaust ARC Full Dual TI (next month).

My setting back then,
Nismo Exhaust 3"
Nismo Cams (Sold before install) when FI APS TT
Nismo CATS
Nismo PS cooler
Nismo Oil cooler Japan (Sold never installed)
Nismo Thermostat

I can't say that I am familiar with a Porshe C4 NA with it set to bypass the CATS, but is it raspy?

ALL NISMO WELDINA PARTS FOR THE Z33 and CPV35 VQ35DE's HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED. I tried getting these months ago. Nismo hasn't shipped any out since January 07. They may be listed in a link, but they are not available as I doubt that any vendor has these on hand in stock.
