Figured I'd pay up while I remembered I had the money.
I do like the top end my car has with test pipes, I don't really feel that I lost a lot of torque.
itll b raspy (at least on the helix's) from 3-4k but it sounds really nice (w/ the greddy evo2 at least) i didnt notice a loss of tq w/ tp's but when i was runnin n/a it pulled more up top 2.
I know this is an old thread but I just figured I would follow up.
after we installed the TP's on our car, it did not feel like it lost any torque at all. with the modifications that I had at the time already it felt like it actually gained back alot of low end torque as well as some high end pull. even though it does rasp a bit as was mentioned earlier, most of the time it sound pretty nice. now I just need to find a nice cat back to compliment it.

Like said, you lose a bit of low-end and gain some high-end.
For the short time I had TP's, the difference was noticeable but well worth it, at least for me. I liked the high-end gains as they would've been nice out on a track or a drag strip, but not so much for the street.
