Default Question about HKS exhaust

Just got done installing my HKS exhaust. The directions that came with it are terrible. Nothing like my Nismo where it has nice detailed drawings bleh...

After I finished the install I ended up with some extra washers nuts and one bolt... I'm a little confused at what I missed. Everything that was supposed to be bolted is...

Here are some pictures:

Opening the box ooooooh

laying everything out

extra pieces?
The bolt that is left is shorter than the other bolts. One spring washer and many regular washers etc.... Please let me know where these go!

Too dark to get any really nice pictures

Yeah I got the bolts on the tips, i'm assuming the thumb screw goes on the outside of the ti cover? and on the inside I did flat washer first then spring washer then nut.

I'm subscribing to see what happens. I'm installing mine in a couple weekends as soon as it's warm enough

I believe the shorter bolt attatches to the left muffler that has a square-ish fold to it. From there connects a type of grounding wire (not too sure what its for). Are you using 2 washers per bolt?

Oh nope I didn't user 2 washers per bolt... I bolted up the grounding wire in the back to a little bolt and nut that was going to my nismo exhaust... Do I have to unbolt everything and use 2 washers or will I be alright with just one washer/spring washer and nut??

SO does anyone know where some really good instructions can be found? I'm gonna tackle this soon.

don't need instructions for an exhaust... lube all the bolts then take off the old exhaust, take the rubber hangers off the car not take the exhaust off the hangers, a long wrench would be a good idea for taking the stock y pipe off, put the new exhaust on but don't tighten the bolts all the way down till you piece it all together, get the tips lined up then tighten everything down, then lastly install the TI tips and adjust length to your liking... and remember to attach the grounding strip

I still think for the price they could have provided some more detailed instructions. But maybe I'm just spoiled from the nice instructions Nismo provided...

My friend just pointed out that the passenger side exhaust is just barely touching the evac shield. I haven't noticed any rattles and I don't think it's dented the exhaust but it may be scratching it just slightly. Should I modify it or do you think it will be okay?

It said that the 2006's need to be modified but mine is a 2003...
