Default did i do somehing wrong?

Just installed the motordyne 5/16'' spacer, now when i start the car, it feels a bit rough....is this normal? i also put a grounding kit on...but took that off and same feeling. just didn't know if the spacer made the engine feel just a little rough. fast help needed!!

i reset ecu..did the whole list. there just seems to be more of a vibration in the wheel (at idle) than i remember before. nothing sounds different (no leaks, no grinding). does have a different exhaust note. checked all the lines, cel isn't on, all bolts are tight.....did anyone else notice a small difference in how the car felt?

Your strut bar is probably touching the plenum. This will transmit vibrations.

Adjust your strut bar so it doesn't contact the plenum. Also, check when the engine is hot -- there is less clearance after all components have thermally expanded.

since you have the greddy strut bar , you might want to check that it's not rubbing on the hood now...I have JIC's strut and AAM's spacer...it took a few adjustments to get it just right.

that sounds right...when the engine is under load, it rotates a bit - just keep adding small washers/spacers until the strut bar doesn't rub under engine load.

nevermind...thanks for all the help guys....added another small spacer (had sht loads of rub under the strut brace) and removed the little black cushions on the hood.....all is good. no hood rub, no brace/plenum rub even under load. all is good. thanks again.
