Default Fujita F5

I have the Fujita F5 intake on my Z, and I think it sounds awesome. Does anyone else have one or heard one that agrees? I have heard a lot of good things about the pop charger, but can't see how it could sound any better than the Fujita.

I have seen that video, but I still think the fujita sounds better. Maybe if I heard the pop charger in person it may be different

Nice, you should contact Jay@evo-r, he sells an air duct that directs air directly to the intake port.

nice, looks like a better design than the popcharger, the filter is isolated from the engine compartment to help with heat soak and the filter is located further from the maf which should cure the stall problem

Yea I don't have the box with mine, but it looks good. Did you do your under hood paint work yourself?

I thought about making one of those too, but realized when the hood is shut, it literally seals off the intake port within the frame. For all the work it would take to make one, I don't think the benefits are justified. Have you ever had a friend rev the motor while placing your hand in front of the intake port, its like a DYSON vacuum cleaner I really don't see how its possible to ram air thru the filter... on top of what it injests at WOT, even with air channels/ tubes or the Varis air duct.

If your creative or a industrial designer, you too can make your own custom box for $20 (including all parts).

Painting your engine lids is easy... go buy some primer and dark blue paint, it will take you only an hour or two.
