exhaust rattle
I noticed a quiet rattle every once in a while and I think I figured it out, can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. I have the JIC single and it is really close to, well not sure what it is called, but it rattles against it sometimes. Will this be bad for the pipe eventually? Is there someting I can put inbetween there? here is a pic

also, does anyone know why there is a strap connected to the muffler? I put it on the new one since it was attached to the stock one, but curious to what its purpose is.

the strap is for grounding purposes.

if anyone has done this I would like to see some pics
The strap around the muffler is to mount the rear of the exhaust...you cannot weld to Ti when it's only 1mm thick. Also, nice nismo diff cooler, I'm waiting for them to come back in stock...looks nice with our JIC singles.

As mentioned above you should be able to tweak that driver side middle hanger slightly to bring the piping down enough to make a difference. Its not the easiest thing in the world but be careful not to snap it off the exhaust when tweaking it. (not likely but possible)

The strap has no tension on it, it simply slips on over the bolt and is fastened after the muffler has already been mounted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

^^Anyway, I have the same concern, thought about sanding down the point a little. Heat wrap sounds like a good plan.
