Default Q about stock intake, please help

Oh nooo!, another pop charger Q. I was wondering if the JWT pop Charger is actually better (more airflow) than the stock 2006-07 intake setup?
thank you for any help.

The pop charger has a slightly superior venturi ring, which helps accelerate airflow going into the engine without causing pressure loss.

The 06+ intake has a venturi ring too, but it's not quite as big or efficient. But the 06+ intake also seals out hot air, which the popcharger cannot really do unless you custom-fab a cold air box around it (similar to Stillen intake).

Which is better? It's pretty much a toss up. The popcharger should be better in theory, but the 06+ intake is usually going to be better in practice IMO.

Thanks, yeah I kinda heard opinions swaying both ways. Do you guys think you would loose horse power using the JWT popcharger when compared to the '06+ intake?

Does anyone with an '06 have a pop charger and have seen benefits (besides sound)? I know it's only a couple of horses but I was really curious if Nissan out engineered JWT?thanks

I have a pop charger on my 06 and I only notice the sound and I'm thinking about putting my air box back on just to see if I notice anything different. It is only supposed to be a small amount of hp so doubt anyone could feel a difference. I did feel more power after I added my hks dual exhaust.
