Default New Exhaust Smoking......

Question for all those Z owners who have installed headers and all new exhaust.

About 3 weeks ago I installed a set of megan racing headers and megan exhaust.

As I zip around town or on the highway it sounds great, but here's my problem. When I come to a light and stop and idle for a minute or two, when I hit the gas, POOF!!! big cloud of white smoke!

Has anyone else experienced this, how long does it last? Or does it ever go away??

The white smoke may not be related to the new exhaust.

When I installed the HKS exhaust, I had some smoke coming out of it for a couple days, similar situation as yours... I think that it might be related to leftover oil on the inside of the tubing that gets burned in a few days... but again, it was only noticeable for a couple days.

I had smoke come out of all the newly installed exhausts I put on all my cars, and it went away after an hour of driving. I can't believe after 3 weeks of driving, yours still gets it.
