Default Kinetix TP's installed: Me like :)

Nothing ground breaking here, but I though I would share. It took me about 2 1/2-3 hours to install, with just some wrenches, sockets, 1 jack-stand and a jack. Could've been easier if I had remembered my ratcheting wrenches, but oh well.

I delievered in my car all day today, put about 150 miles on my car, and loved every minute. If your driving normal, and shift at about 3k, you really wouldnt even be able to know. I see no problem with these as DD friendly mod. Im not sure how everyone else drives their cars, but I drove around all day and only noticed them when I wanted to. Its most obvious at full throttle, and between 3k-3.5k, where you notice most of the rasp. I dont think its a big deal at all.

So in conclusion,
Does it rasp? Yes it does!
Was it hard to install? Only if your an idiot!
Was it worth the $80? Absolutely!

(Sorry for biting on your thread title too, Magnetic06. I just thought it would be funny!)

Worthwhile mod. Rasp is overrated.

I love mine. I agree with the OP. DD with them under 3k is not noticable at all.
Even with the rasp, which is just for a very short period of time (3-3500k) it sounds awesome the rest of the way to redline.

I do just have a stock exhaust w/TP's. I was considering getting a y-pipe perhaps, but really dont think I will see anymore gains from my exhaust system unless I go with a good full exhaust. Im not going there yet.

I am really happy with it though. I put another 75miles or so on my car today and cant wait to go to the track on Wednesday. I really think I will notice a difference in my trap speed. Atleast I hope so!

UPDATE:

My test pipes will absolutely be staying on my car. They sound great, and I also went to the track, and my trap speed was never under 101. I had a best trap speed of 102.56 as well. My last best trap was 101.86. So needless to say I am really content with them

I purchased these off of a member on this forum.
