Default Just installed Injen SES 1986c *PICS and VIDEO*

I know this exhaust has been around a long time but I just installed it and it was a piece of cake. Installation took approx 45 minutes with a lift and a impact wrench. The fitting is superb. I have DC Sports headers, stock cats. SOUNDS GREAT! No loss of torque or power that the old butt dyno can detect.

Beautiful pics, nice choice of exhaust.

Any other N/A modding plans, tuning, etc?

I had the old school flared tip version back in the day, when did they add a X-pipe to the system? Brings back the memories...

Injen released the SES 1986c with a H-pipe about 6 months ago.

As of right now I am not sure. I would like to add test pipes but I tried that already and this was the result https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/261145-new-problems-this-time-may-be-baaaaaaad.html so I am really unsure as of right now.

Add test pipes and it will sound like this.

Check my mods, they are similar to yours.

Thanks so much. I LOVE the way it sounds. It also added a little more UMPH to the acceleration as well.

Your car doesnt sound bad. Looks like the same exhaust as mine but with the test pipes, it has a more raspy sound. That is something that I was trying to stay away from (no offense). Do you have aftermarket headers?

It's actually not bad at all. The only time it is loud is at about 55-60 MPH in 6th gear running approx 2200-3000 RPM's. The only way I can describe it is a deeeeep base sound. It will vibrate the hair on your neck and I LOVE IT!!!!

Yeah, i have headers. I didnt notice a difference in sound after the headers though. It was the damn test pipes that gave it that ****ty raspiness.

check my signature for mods
