Well last weekend i installed my aam plenium spacer. The install was very easy and took about an hour to do. The instructions were easy to read and explained everything. The only suggestion i have is when the instructions say to re-use some of the old bolts, just use new ones. I have 70k mlies on my car and those old bolts did not want to stay tight.
Once installed i took it out, the car seems to pull a bit harder, and sounds deeper as well. Most impressively my mpg has gone up about 2.5-3 mpg which is huge since i drive my z about 95 miles a day.
All in all nice mod. Cheap. Easy to install. Decent gains
one question though..
When i opened up my plenium there was oil inside. Is this normal? All of the pictures that i have seen of pleniums are dry. I'll post pictures later tonight.

Yeah, it's normal. The oil vapor from the crankcase gets recirculated to the intake for emissions purposes. Put a catch can on the crankcase breather line and that'll separate the crankcase vapors from the oil.

Here's a link to a DIY thread. Or you can buy some pretty nice catch cans with all the neccessary mounting hardware.
