Default Warning check Fast Intentions Hanger Weld

I just had my driver side muffler hanger break off from the weld point on the muffler. Just an FYI. Normal driving didn't hit any bumps.

I'll be unpacking mine tomorrow and will post my findings on the appearance of the welds. Were you able to get your muffler hanger rewelded easily, and to your satisfaction?

FI exhaust is better than HKS on many respects. Its probably independant of the other exhaust. besides, its a 25 dollar fix, at most.

I wonder if the patch weld will discolor the chrome on the muffler near the hanger.

Did you try to contact FI about the weld? If so, what was their response?

I got my FI system unpacked and examined the hanger welds closely. They appear to be well and beautifully done.In fact all the welds are very nicely done. This system is gorgeous-a shame to hide it under the car! I hope the weak weld was just a fluke. The nice thing about having FI stateside(Northridge,Ca.) is that new parts can be easily attained, and FI appears to be a standup company.
