Ah. It's a hobby for me as well but faster acceleration is a big part of that. I would more strongly consider what Admin tuning says than LMT as Admin's the only one with dyno results and he talks about it on another forum (google 3.5" intake 350z). Gives specifics between multiple intakes vs 3.5" with and without large bore t.b.
I sent NWP an email yesterday asking them about the dyno chart they have posted which looks nothing like any naturally aspirated DE I've ever seen. No word back yet. The chart they have for the "maxima with gutted intake" looks like our setup and the chart they have for our setup is totally unrecognizable. If I don't hear back from them but decide to move forward with the large bore, I'll buy a new tb for a buck-forty and send it to a guy that does nothing but bore tb's for $100. No adapter plate and no wire harness adapter either.

I looked back over the NWP dyno charts. Something just doesn't pass the smell test. I sent'em another email which is posted below. I'm sure there are others reading this who have yet to comment. If you are in the know about a large bore tb used in conjunction with a large intake, please chime in. The charts on their site don't mention anything about utilizing a large intake pipe.
"Sorry to harp on this Aaron. I really don't mean to sound like I'm digging on your product, just trying to understand what I'm looking at. I looked at the charts again on your site. If the chart for the 350z/g35 is actually for the maxima, it still doesn't jive unless the maxima was mucho modified.
stock intake 2002 maxima 195/202
gutted intake 2002 maxima 266/244
350z/g35 2006 242/246
The first chart for the maxima is believable, knowing it makes 255hp/246tq at the flywheel.
There's a massive jump in power between the 2 maximas above with the only listed difference being a gutted intake?
The chart for the 350z/g35 is not for these 2 cars. I don't know what the chart is for, but it's not a vq35de in a 350z, g35 or fx35.
Please tell me what I'm missing. I'm participating in a running thread and inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks"
Edit 3/5/18 - it works.
