Default Dumps on a 350Z

Has anybody ever put dumps on their 350Z? I was just wondering. My friend was racing a GTO the other night with dumps, and I have never heard of anybody doing this with their 350Z. I wonder what it would sound like.

Saw it at a Z club HPDE in Rockingham, NC. He was running TT as well. Sounded INCREDIBLE as it screamed around the track. Not raspy, just actually had some good rumble. Not really a big block chevy rumble but you know what i mean.

This coming from a srt4 owner, MANY ppl run electric cut outs on our cars. Its almost common. Kinda funny to read on here that not many ppl have done it. It comes in handy very fast if you get pulled over or if your going to go through a quite type place. I would imagine that it would sound very nice on a fi setup.

Just some advice from me, I started my car with open test pipes before and even open Y-pipe and it sounded absolutely terrible. I hang around with a lot of LS1 guys with cutouts but I wouldn't dare do it on a Z.

If you only use one, and put it between the resonator and the muffler, it sounds great!! With zero rasp! And you don't loose any performance doue to back pressure loss.

I have a friend with an R32 and they come equipped with one of these. I don't know exactly how it is set up, but I know he flips a switch and his exhaust note gets louder. For the price this is actually a pretty tempting mod, except that I have an aftermarket system and would not feel good about slicing a section out so that I could weld this thing in.
