Cool New Guy: Stock Exhaust Question

Hey, first i just wanted to say whats up to everybody on the forum. Second, anyone know which part of the factory 350z exhaust causes that nice growl under 3500rpm? Is it the muffler all the way to the rear? And does anyone have pics of their stock exhaust? Any info would be great, Thanks!!!

btw i did try search but couldn't find any info...

I think it is a combination of the engine plus the various exhaust components. I'm sure there is a pic of a stock exhaust removed from a car somewhere on here.

sweet pic! thanks! And about the sound, after seeing a few clips of aftermarket exhausts systems, i noticed that some sound very close to my 04 Acura TL with custom HKS setup. So i was just wondering which part of the factory 350z exhaust causes that oem growl under 3000rpm... My acura with the aftermarket exhaust sounds very much like the 350z with aftermarket exhaust, so i'm dying to figure out which part causes the smooth growl. Im hoping i can get that growl on my car... so far i'm thinking it's the rear muffler which i don't think can fit...
