Thanks for posting the vids...I'm sure the camera that you used doesn't do the exhaust justice

Trust me !
The exhaust sounds really good.
These videos dont do it justice.
Everyone I have ran into, likes it.
I had it installed on saturday, that about 30 people.
It sounds really deep compared to the real HKS.
Sounds good up untill 5rpms.
The Engine just takes over by then.
We G-Tech the car, and are hitting 13.3 in the 1/4 mile.
Next month when I get a different work schedule, we will take it to the track.
Should be able to get 12.9 with the intake, when they come out.

holy **** bro 13.3 with jus an exhaust. It looks like the new hr motors respond better to bolt ons that the older motors. I have and 07 myself and cant decide which exhasut to get. Im mostly looking for performance more so than sound regardless of price.

07 and 03-06 engines are all the same displacement, 3.5 L , therefore, any exhaust system that works well for a 03-06, should also be totally fine for an 07. Several exhausts have been bolted up to 07's already and people have posted dynos... if you search you can find them

I know for a fact there have been dynos of the HKS, Greddy EVOTT exhaust on 07, and both of them made some typical power you'd see on any year 350z

The Evo TT made the same power on the 03-06 N/A as the HR???I don't think anyone ever dyno'd the EVO TT on a 03-06 N/A Z...I may be wrong though

I didn't say that...
I said the evoTT made power on the HR, and the power gain was typical of any exhaust upgrade on any Z

That may be true, but I interpreted from the shop doing the dyno that they didn't expect using an exhaust designed for TT applications to yield that kind of gain on a NA car.

I haven't seen an HKS dyno on the HR, where did you see this? Or are you referring to the knock-off version?

John

guys, dont get crazy over here the two designs are similar with the evott being 70mm instead of 60mm. Im pretty sure if a too big 70mm yield gains of 10 hp ; a more appropriate 60mm should be even better for scavenging
