Got my Strup Headers Today *pics right out of box*

Well, my Strup headers arrived today. I know when I was choosing headers I found quite a few pictures of the collectors for different headers but I remember Strup's pictures being pretty crappy. So, without further ado here are 3 clear pictures of what Strup headers come with and look like.




ugh, my topspeeds looked much much cleaner. with that said, not sure how much this impacts performance. walkert bought my topspeeds and had it dyno'd. the gain in the mid range was wicked but he didnt gain anything top end.

I had heard that topspeed started deburring the welds on the inside of the collectors, regardless its going to have very minimal impact. This is much smoother than the OEM collectors, though. I have seen various opinions on headers. Honestly, the overall consensus is that they aren't worth the money, but if you want to squeeze every possible ounce of power out of your car NA you might as well get them. I was about 3 seconds away from pulling the trigger on a set of crawfords but I guess I snapped out of it and realized the huge price difference. I know crawfords make the most power, but these will do just fine.

i think you will be pleasantly surprised. walkert gained if i remember right around 15whp from about 3000 to 5000 rpm with the top speed, and this is without a tune. i think that is significant. im contemplating going with headers since ive read that they are really good for vortech'd cars.

my topspeeds one looked better as well. For the price you cant go wrong w/ topspeed.

I just wanted to make sure the strup headers were properly represented. The last pic I saw of the collectors showed very botched up welds inside.

i`m really really disappointed about my DC Headers dunno if Strup is the same, but the pipes are toooooo small compared to JDM headers, really guys !! the JDM headers has much better collectors/bigger pipes, the RHD can be fitted with a minor work on the Driver side.

P.S. If you think I'm harsh or a smart *** you have obviously very little experience on internet forums in general. My350z's policies are super lenient. I don't generally care if people think I'm an ***, because I do this for the good of the forum, not to spoon feed people

Not the best pic, but my inner welds on the collector were pretty even.

Silly rabbit! Jet Hot is for kids! I think mine got corroded or something.
