The Typhoon Intake System by K&N will be released early June. It will include an Airbox, Carbon Fiber Lid, Straight thru intake pipe with billet M.A.S. adapter, Cold-Air pick-up tube, and plastic air-scoop that mounts behind the grill, and a K&N Xstream Filtercharger.

I don't have any raw numbers, but it will be in the $400+ MSRP range. Due to the complexity of the design, and numerous components included in the kit. We gained real good numbers that I can not release, until the kit is released. The Dyno-charts will be posted on the K&N Typhoon WebSite, when the kit is released.

THanks!

K&N quoted 10-11hp at the sema show. Looks like a great design, a cold air ram type intake.

I'm hoping the coupe front end is not too different.

I'm also hoping the ECU will adjust positively with ram air as it seems to tune the engine down with other types of intakes.

Hello all!

The 350Z, G35 Coupe, and G35 Sedan will all have different kits. Only the Z will have the Carbon Fiber set-up for now. They should all be released in June.

Thanks for your interest

The coupe price about the same as the Z? Pics?

Please tell me its not too similar to the Ingen. Although that one is good, its a lot cheaper than yours ( I'm assuming you're affiliated with K&N). I'm guessing from reading other posts, its similar but with enhancements, such as a scoop, billet MAF housing, special air box, for the Z. Does the coupe design have all these?

Hello,

The K&N Typhoon is nothing like the current available intakes from competitors. It is designed to yield a good combination of esthetics and power.

I agree, how does this bad boy compare to the Injen intake? I don't see how it could be better if it's not CAI, but then again since there is NO INFO on the damn thing...
