Here we are almost in 2020 !

How did this intake work out for the owners that bought it ?

Did it get the gains you were looking for and was it purchased more for the look/status ?

I would like to purchase and install one for the upcoming season simply for exclusivity and i might
be the only one in Ontario, Canada that has one on a Z Touring Roadster.

Thank you to all contributors for your opinions. Even the negative ones.

Is that thing even for sale anymore? A lot of JDM things are starting to be discontinued for this car =(

See, here's the problem with vivid, they have **** on their site that no longer exists so in actuality you don't know if they have it. That being said this "could" technically be the best intake ever made for the Z if modified. That being said if you buy it only to modify it after, might as well design your own, not only that but intakes don't give a DE a whole lot of gains to justify paying anywhere near that amount.

It seems to be still shipping. I just got a firm quote from my rep at Vivid Racing quoting me 3 weeks delivery.
So this one is not discontinued yet.

Lots of hype but no power figures.

I'd be surprised if it made more than 5hp

Definitely not worth it, you can get a custom titanium intake for less.

Thanks for everyone's input, it seems to still be a doubtful purchase by some owners and highly sought after by others.

I mean it's definitely one of the most effective setups out there, I think it's more of a name/rarity thing. Just like ARC products and stuff like that. Its price is absolutely bonkers tho.

Thanks for everyone's input and opinions. I think I'm going to put off getting this one and buy a set of Wilwood Superlite Rear brake kit instead. I mean it's one of those upgrades that would be really
nice to have but better value would be to finish my big brake upgrades.
