Default Gruppe-m intake

I'm about to pull the trigger to purchase gruppe-m cf intake kit. Just wondering for the owners of gruppe-m, what is your impression of the intake? You think its worth the $$?Any input would be appreciated

I had it on my 06' and it was the best intake. It isn't worth it if you buy it brand new because the cost/hp is rediculous but the quality is superb. The carbon fiber will make you drool everytime you stare at it.

If you want to add a few more horses, add the velocity stack from a 06 OEM airbox (the gold metal piece) and transfer it onto the gruppe-m airbox.

Cool, yes

gains, yes (probably more on the street than you can get on the dyno, due to ram air effect)

worth it, that's up to you... far too rich for my blood

It's a status thing basically letting everybody know you got an expensive *** CF intake. As for gains it's not worth the price.

i dont want to sell it. its pristine mint condition with a freshly oiled K&N filter. you said they dont make them anymore. if this is true they are only going to get more scarce, and more valuable. how bad do i want to sell it??? no, no...how bad do you want it?

If you don't want to sell it,its pointless to ask me how bad i want it. And no, they are not going to get more scarce and more valuable because there are other intakes like ARC that basicaly does the same thing for less than half the price. Thats why my friend, they don't make it anymore because no one is going to buy an $800 intake that only yields 5hp; hence Gruppe-m discontinued it. Heck, i can even make my own induction and would work just as well; exp: Varis Air Duct. The only thing you paid for was CF. lol.....

LOL ok, then before you "pull the trigger" on a gruppeM, think about what you are saying. go out and buy a friggen pop charger, if you are not about looks.my Gruppe M intake is not for sale...but if offered enough, yes i would remove it from my car and sell.

Lol, you can make your own duct with $10 worth of home depot parts.

This was very common for 5th gen maxima guys before any good aftermarket parts came out
