Those of you with Kinetix Plenums or other plenums
Before i get flamed about the MREV2 + 5/16 Spacer combo thats been beaten to death, this question is a bit different. I've done my homework and searches :P
Mostly for the Non-revup people,
Option #1 keeping the kinetix plenum and throwing the spacer or MREV2 on.
Did you add a 5/16 motordyne spacer? or an MREV2 collector? Im worried about strut bar clearance. I have a Kinetix v4 installed right now and i want to get the spacer because i heard it helps. But having the kinetix plenum already might do the job the spacer would, and im debating getting the MREV2 because I dont think i would have a problem with clearance. The Kinetix plenum is already a pretty tight fit, I fear adding a little bit will even push it too hard against the strut.
Option #2 Ditching the kinetix plenum and adding the spacer with the stock plenum.
Anyone with a similar setup have opinions? Or know that i would have clearance problems?

adding a spacer to your kinetix plenum will probably yeild no further gains. Honestly, there is a thin line between too much and too little when it comes to the plenum spacing. The only gains you coudl probably yeild are with the MREV2 but with a non rev up engine be prepared to reflash/tune your car after installing it. Good luck with your decision.

go with option 2...option 1 is worthless...

Certaintly don't mix the spacer with a upper plenum. Wont fit.
You would be able to do a little better by adding a MREV2 to your Kinetix, but I don't think the difference would be worth the added cost.
If you had a REVUP engine, then I would absolutely recommend it.
