Baseline dyno, Injen install w/ black hoses & ground kit,
I've been dying to put this on, but was a good boy and waited until the break in period was over. The baseline for the dyno was done with just 1400 miles on the car.
I'm going to wait another 500 miles or so until I dyno it with the new intake to see the gains. I know I felt an immediate response difference when accelerating, and really pulls in the 4000-5300RPM range. I wasn't sure about it when I bought it, but I am sold now!
OK, Ive read the same thing enough that Im gonna take one for the team and just say what everyones (at least the people that live in my apartment) been thinking...
Ive never seen, nor heard of an ecu compinsating for mods and causing a loss of hp. As far as hp loss over time, could it simply be wear and tear on the clutch, causing it to slip and hence a lower rwhp?
Second, if the ecu does cause a hp loss, just unhook the battery and reset the ecu once a month... takes a sum total of 30 seconds of work and 10 minutes of waiting.

zuffy,
The car has right around 1500 miles. The dyno that is shown is just a baseline and was done prior to me making any modifications, basically the car was stock. I know as the car breaks in further the hp and torque will increase slightly, plus after seeing some of the other dyno graphs posted I'm not too worried with what my results were. I'm looking forward to running it thru the dyno again soon to see if the intake has made a difference.

The location of the intake filter shouldn't cause any problems unless it has been completely submerged in water--hydrolock would definately suck. I have already washed my car and driven in the rain and haven't experienced any problems so far.
