u need to get a replacement. go to the dealership, they'll know which one you're talking about. that's where i got mine. if Nissan doesn't have it, go visit Infiniti dealership.

The same thing happened to me also . I'd either go to the dealer or to an auto parts store (NAPA, Checkers).

they're not necessary easy to snap, just remember to be patient with them and you'd rather do it slowly and safely, instead of snapping the bolts. when I installed mine, I only broke one of them, and this is after completly installing the spacer, and opening up again the second day to make sure I cleaned the inside of the plenum just to make sure I do it right. So technically I installed it twice and only broke one bolt and it was the last bolt to be torqued and I just got a bit impatient at the end, and snapped it.

Yes, half of the thread is snapped off right at the top of the plenum, so the bolt is technically holding the plenum together. I'm taking it to a shop to get the thread removed and put in a new bolt, just been really busy and haven't had the chance to take it to a shop. Overall, it's a good learning experience to get to know your engine.

I read these threads daily. Ive installed 4 MD spacers/MREV 2's on several cars including my own. You need to be a moron to over torque a bolt so god damn much that you break it, I don tunderstand you guys. Its in/lb not ft/lb JESUS PEOPLE!!! Read the instructions, if you cant handle it use a nut runner ARGGHH!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha! You know the funniest one was when I recieved a phone call from a drunk guy in Texas at about 10PM Friday night. (and I'm on the west coast)

The guy said he broke three bolts in a row and didn't know why.
He said he only had 5 beers and was using a breaker bar to tighten his plenum bolts down when they broke LOL!

He was working on his Z outside on a dirt driveway, in the dark, while it was raining, drunk, and with only a flashlight to see.

He then said "Hang on. Let me push my car toward the porch light so I can see better"

This was one of the many wierd calls I've heard. Let me tell you I've heard all kinds of funny install stories. Some even with pipe wrenches involved!

Actually, anyone who installs these needs a INCH LB torque wrench. You can't do it with a foot lb.

just take a socket wrench and give it a quarter turn once the bolts are tight. (in the right order of course) Were looking for a seal that prevent's air from leaking, not something that is waterproof. Takes a lot of carelessness to break a bolt... amusing but rediculous.
