Default Exhaust burn prevention

alright so i've been researching and havn't been able to find the right thread for it, so i thought i'd ask you guys.

since i drive a ppw and im about to get a new exhaust (evo tt) what is it called that i can get to prevent exhaust burn. i've seen them on a Z before and in pictures. they go right above the tips.

Don't touch with bare skin

(clean the area, then wax it. its easier to remove soot off waxed surfaces)

Wish I remembered what they were called...
Many also came in CF finish to enhance bling appeal

Varis makes them in CF.

I'll add that I have a PPW and have never had any burning back there.

It's not "burn", it's carbon buildup on the bumper. Get a bottle of cleaner wax and scrub off the bumper every so often.

Agree. You will definitely see some carbon build-up with test pipes. Wax the paint. Polish the exhaust. You will be fine. 47,000 miles with the above exhaust.
