You will definitely see a loss in low end power from it.

That is too much exhaust for N/A
Just ge the EVO2, it is a great sound and is cheaper...
You will also have a gain from it, not much but it will be there

The size and length of the primaries and collector in exhaust design is the most important thing. After the collector, the exhaust should really be as big as possible--that is the simple version. Here is an example of a evo tt making +10hp on a vq35hr, I've seen it make almost that on a vq35de

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....=greddy+evo+TT

so I say go for it.

I'm thinking about this exhaust for my 07. I got even more convinced when I read that thread. That thread really proves a lot of people wrong.

overkill, save your self a few hundred and get the evo2. use the extra money left over for some nice test pipes.

....how are you guys coming up with these assumptions, i've seen two dynos of stock Z's with the greddy TT exhaust and they have improved down low all the way to redline.

i just felt it lags down low now. i had a custom single exhaust before and when i switched it out, i actually felt a difference right off the bat.

Cause it's science. When you don't have enough backpressure NA, you are bound to lose power. There's a reason that most of the exhausts out there for the Z aren't true dual with large piping.

The Greddy Evo TT exhaust is 2.75" in diameter. The HKS Hi-Power is 2.36" in diameter. If a turbo kit ever comes out for the 07's, i'm def gonna get a hold of one. I'm going to make a decision between these two. I don't think .4" increase in diameter could make a power loss on my HR while i'm still NA....what do you guys think?

.4 is almost half an inch. That should make a definite difference.
