Default Can an 03 run newer cats?

I am buying a set of 04.5 cats from a member on here and I was just wondering if they would be compatible with an 03. I know somewhere in the newer years they had a wideband option.Does an 04.5 have the wideband? If so, would it work with the 03 and its o2 sensors?

Thanks,

Jon

I'm not sure if the wideband would work in the '03, but the O2 sensor can be removed from the cat, so you should be able to use the new cats with the old O2 sensor. Good luck getting the sensors loose, you'll probably want to get some penetrant first.

Just get Crawford HFC. Stock cat is very restrictive anyway..
Have a bung welded on for wideband on Crawford, and you're all set.
