Default Plenum question

Got the plelum spacer installed. If driving a little bit during the day, everything is fine. If driving a lot during the day, I get this grinding sound/feel in 1st and 2nd gear from 1500rpms - 4000rpms. Anybody ever experienced this? Is this normal?

Because I made the mistake of posting the original thread in the wrong forum.

Adjust the strut bar tension so you get more clearance above the plenum.

How much do I have to adjust it? I looked at it, and there is about a finger's gap in between the strut.

+2 What I noticed is the more I drive the vehicle, the more the plenum expands(due to heat). It could be rubbing on the underside of your strut bar. Do you have any idling problems?
