Noob Question
Hello all. I just purchased a 2005 350z MT, I think 1 step up from base model.
I want to do an intake mod that will get me to 300 bhp, and maybe an extra 1 mpg (i know wanting mpg from a sports car). Im looking to spend 350 MAX! Any help is much appreciated.

Dont waste your money on headers IMO.. Get everything else first (your other mod wants).. If you feel you really need to then.. go ahead.. But it requires a **** load of labor for a few whp maybe.. or even a power loss/mucho $$..
See I understand that the easiest way to make power is to get more air in quickly, and more exhaust out quickly. Exhaust manifolds are notorious for flowing like crap, it seams headers would allow the exhaust to flow better. Is the exhaust dependent on back pressure or something of this nature?
