Default GruppeM intake special intro price!

GruppeM is set to release their carbon fiber cold air intake for the Z. They make perhaps the best intakes available for all the top performance cars.

I've spoken to a reputable GruppeM distributor (Rennsport) and if we can get at least 5 people in on a group buy, we can get the intakes for a special intro price of $649 (list price will be $995).

HP gains are +12HP/10ft.lb

They're smoking their socks if they think they can get that much power. It doesn't look that much different than the Jim Wolf charger.

Not to mention that it will be drawing hot air right from the engine compartment. I really think that some of these companies come up with this crap, make some unsubstantiated claim and hope that they sell a few to a few gullible people just to recoup the marketing costs for this crap and get there name out there as a aftermarket parts manufacturer for imports. It also looks like you need to cut the flange end off of the air flow meter housing which means, going back to stock when you realize it is junk is not an option. I wouldn't take it if they paid me for it...

Where is the rest of the system? That is just a filter. Maybe I am blind, doubtful , but that looks like brushed alluminum not CF.
