the resonated ones will hardly make any difference on the rasp you are now experiencing. Your catback exhaust is not controlling the exhaust note. you will either need to go back to stock cats or change your catback exhaust.

To the OP, get a set of APS pipes. If you keep a stock Y-pipe and muffler section, you will have a very nice sounding exhaust. if you change out either the y-pipe or muffler, or change to a full aftermarket catback, you will most likely have rasp. From my experience the brackets have NO affect on sound. Resonated pipes help minimally, but I have found it is the quality test pipes that have thicker gauge SS that are the choice pipes to get.
