i bought that same y pipe and now when i reach about 3,000 rpms i get a droning sound for like a second then it goes away. never had this with the stock pipe. i'm going JIC in the near future.

Anyway, I enjoy moding my car, to me it's not the end result, but the actual process.... I have a certain style and I will go above and beyond to keep it. Everything must have a function, or I don't do it.

 

Update on the CEL light. I have made some improvements to the UNDERGND's PVC canister and after doing some voodoo to the CEL light, it has not showed up in a few days now.


Now, I just need to find me a y-pipe....

 

I see you painted it. Do you have that 2nd solenoid hooked up also, because I don't see it in the pic. If it's hooked up correctly, even if it throws a CEL, it will clear itself after a while. I know if the cannister volume was larger it would work better, but I didn't have any more pipe. Knowing what you now know, you could experiment with a larger unit, maybe 2 1/2" diameter?

 

I have added a third port on the side that's where the 2nd solenoid (the only, other one is a sensor) is.

Im just giving you a hard time bro, as i said earlier, if youre getting an amuse, at least invest in a quality y-pipe. Now the only way to redeem yoruself is to get a Ti y-pipe.
