Thinking of adding 1 thats for sale from a member... my question is.. just the catback no test pipes or hfc...


i heard clips of the exhaust at wot, and idle,

my question is the seller said at around 2200-2400 rpm there is slight drone, not unbearable...

but 3k+ rpm its gone...


I drive a good amount on the highway, and cruise in 6th @ 80 give or take..


for those with knowledge of the n1 - how bad is the drone with this exhaust? I like to save gas, so drive conservativly ... so 5th gear @ 40 etc,


Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not to bash your thread op, but there are better exhaust systems on the market. I've heard drone on the magnaflow (does not sound good). I've also heard it a little on the Injen exhausts, but to a lesser degree. Never heard the Apexi N1 at all, so I can't say anything for it. I just don't like the way it looks.

 

I really want an x02.. but none for sale! Sold out and no used ones for sale..

i was interested in the n1 cause its priced well, and the sound is good except for the drone it gives a little.


Ive wanted an x02 for a while, and had a wtb thread, and al vendors were sold out till after x mas.. however, 10 min after i made this thread a used x02 went on sale in exhaust forum, and i was the 1st to pm the op and i bought it. So i am getting an x02 exhaust op said about 10 pple msged him minutes after me - when i viewed the thread it had only 1 view, i got lucky basically.. if the others saw it before me i woulda been SOL
