Just installed X02 exhaust on 07 and...
its A W E S O M E ! ! !
I can see why this exhaust is so popular; why the vendors are sold out, and when one goes for sale in the FS section its gone within minutes (if the person ships)
I would give the fitment an 8.5/10 - some people were saying the quality might lack due to its price and that its a "knockoff" but this exhaust was used for 4-5k miles and when I put it on my car, everything was perfect with the install and the fitment
The sound is great. Its pretty damn quiet in the cabin (No drone really) but outside has a very nice JDM sound to it
The tips and the exhaust in general look amazing especially for the $550 price tag NEW!
Lastly, and what I think is most important is this:
The car is faster judging by the SOTP feel!!!!! I didn't think it would make a noticeable difference
What I mean by this is, the car can break its tires quicker, and from I would say 3k+ it pulls harder. I haven't dynoed with the exhaust but I would say it gained at least 10whp (since I can actually feel a difference).
To prove this isnt in my mind.. My gf came for a ride after it was done (she thought an exhaust only made it sound different, and that it doesn't give any hp gains.. she thought it made it louder and thats it)
so after taking her for a ride.. she goes - whoa i got butterflies in my stomach when you punched it.. she goes are you sure these things don't give you an hp? And I was like what do you mean.. she goes well they only add sound I thought, but your car feels faster too. I said well it really is suppose to add some hp.. glad you can feel it because I can feel it too is was i told her, and I was glad I wasn't the only 1 thinking it made it quicker.
All in all - very happy with everything about this exhaust. I see why its so highly sought after.
My custom HFC are being made, they are not on atm (fyi)

I am very glad you like this exhaust !
I tried to do my damn best to make sure you get it the same shape that it was when i had it on my car.
Shipping exhaust is crazy !
I saw a deal on Amuse and I could not say no. If it wasn’t for that, I would keep this system. There is nothing better for the money. As you saw it is not a 100% flawless quality, but it’s really close to the more $$$ brands.

From what I have been hearing, the HKS is having some quality issues...That's why I didn't pay that much for it....Also, on a 07 the XO2 sounds more deeper and the HKS has more of a High pitch in person... You made the right decision!!! Trust me!

MRC is doing them, I dont want there to be any problems with the x02.. many people once they add hfc or test pipes to them get drone and are too loud - and I want to keep the most similar sound but get more hp.
To me, (after owning an M3 and Cl600) I had $2k exhaust(rip off IMO but there isn't anything cheap for those cars) (eismann or kleeman) but honestly, I can't justify it on a z..even the M I had the Rouge Engineering El Diablo exhaust (very popular) and that was $1100.
But for the price of the car + its N/A .. for the gains it just isn't worth it IMO. I am above and beyond happy with my purchase.. The rest of the money can go towards HFCs..
With these hfc + the exhaust used.. I am still under 775 with install and all.
