Default JWT Popcharger

Since Ive heard very good things about this and how a lot of people own it, i was wondering if it makes a sound difference in the engine and if it sounds nice. Thanks.

it has a whistling noise caused by the air being sucked into the pod, most people like it.

It makes more of a "growl" too during acceleration- this is noticeable only by the driver and not so much people outside of the car. There is also the whistle noise that is audible VERY SLIGHTLY at high RPM's before shifts.

It whistles a lot around 2-3k and gets pretty loud around the top 5K range.

I love the sound, I just got it installed, the wistle is only noticible with windows down, and it gives a nice deep sound. I believe there is more power now, car spins more going into third as before it was a chirp.

Apologize for the sarcasm. The Pop Charger is the first 350Z intake. All the rage 4 years ago. No intake has been discussed more.

Ehhhh, not really. Unlike other intakes, this one is designed similarly to the 06 airbox (velocity stacks and all), it sits at a very nice location, and comes with a heat shield. Mine will be installed on Friday, I bought it just to experiment. I'll post impressions of what I think. If I don't like it, I'll uninstall it - only if I end up losing low-end TQ.

This is what the filter looks like. The polished tube doesn't come with it. Not pictured is the heat sheild.

I'll try to record some high-quality clips and post them up, at the least.
