depends if your going for speed or looks.
looks- rims with drop first
speed- intake, exhaust and etc from there

am i the only one who upgraded my sound system first? sure i could've gotten new rims but why bother when the 07 stockers are decent? instead for the price of rims I got a touch screen double din 7" dvd player, 2 jl amps, component mb quart qsd216 speakers, zenclosure type s and a 10" jlw6v2 and pure audio and visual bliss for me and my passengers . i'll work on the exterior later...

Whatever you do, don't get a ridiculous sound system. But if you have enough room in your budget, then by all means do whatever you want. That exhaust system is great.

IMO, the Z was made to be driven hard and fast, not to roll into town with speakers bumpin' Paul Wall.

I took that path, although not as extreme.

NO, I did my system first as well. Its all JL Audio and Pioneer Premier. I love it (although I barely ever have time to drive it). Rims and suspension will come later.

first mod should be wheels hands down... whether you do it for looks or you get some very nice light wheels... that's the best way to let people know you did something to your car, and you will have a smile everytime you walk up to it in the parking lot...

Like everyone else has mentioned. What are you looking for?

If you want a smile on your face for minimal money go the pop charger, resonated test pipes and plenum spacer route for well under a grand.

This combo will produce more power than exhaust alone for a little less money
