Any awful smells from test pipes? Or do you think that the smell talk is exaggerated?

they are still breaking in, not bad in my opinion. Although, I used to ride a modded sport bike and dealt with fumes for years, so i'm probably not the best person to ask.

Right now I have Megan Headers + TurboXS TP's + X02 exhaust. I am pretty sure everyone in my entire complex hates me at 6:45am when I go to work

As for smell, it's just the gas smell. I don't think it's outrageous and I don't smell it in the cabin.

maybe it's just me, but I personally don't think the injen (stock cats) is nearly as loud as everyone makes it out to be. I have ridden in and driven a z with the injen track and it sounded great, but I didn't think that it was unbearable in anyway shape or form. maybe my ears are just jacked up from shooting without ear pro so much but I just don't think it's all that loud.

now I've never heard one in real life with test pipes so I guess that might be pretty loud (I actually kinda hope so). but I'll let you know in a couple of days .

I usually leave the apartment at about 530-545ish, lets see how my dueche bag neighbors like me

ohh god dude I finally put the injen track on. wow loud is an understatement.

it sounds great, however the drone in 6th gear at about 60 is horrible (ie vibrates the car so much my head hurts).

seeing as how the z is my daily driver, and I do a lot of long distance driving the drone is a fairly large issue, but I ordered some sound deadening materials earlier this week so hopefully that will kill the violent resonating within the cabin of the car and all will be well.

around town though when I don't ever hardly hit 6th gear it just sounds plain mean. deffinately attracts lots of attention. I took a ride in a buddy of mines mustang cobra with nothing but headers and it was just a very slight bit louder. the z right now litterally sounds like an 800 HP supra or something.

Have you tried going wot in an underpass or tunnel with the windows down? I tried it the other day and I was shocked at how loud it was. I was expecting it to be loud, but it literally hurt my ears lol

How was the fitment on your Injen?

I hated my Nismo+TP setup. I can't imagine an Injen+TP.
