I have an 06 roadster and want to know whether the metallics are enough louder to be a headache than the ceramics with the top down. Love every bit of power I can get but not at the cost of dealing with ear splitting exhaust on my roadster. I have both the metallic and the ceramic hfc so trying to make a decision. Opinions appreciated.

I am in the same boat. I have a 2005 roadster with Strup headers and Borla TD exhaust. I ordered a set of ceramics over a month ago. They were on back order but I should be receiving them soon. I went with the ceramics because I don't want my exhaust to be too much louder. From what Berk told me the metallic should be about 20% louder than the ceramics. I will post a new topic once I get them installed but that may not be until the spring. My Z is sleeping for the winter. It already snowed 3 times here in RI.
