Default Injen Exhaust INSTALLED!

Well after a 3 day wait after Failsafe got his, mine finally came in today, i ran down to san diego and had it installed immediately. Truthfully the sound is almost exactly like my friends Twin Turbo Supra with an Tanabe Racing Medalion! It sounds amazing real deep and throaty, has a rumble type tone without any high pitches. When you hit WOT it gets even crazier and starts to sound like a skyline ( without the TT ) but still you get the idea. Im just amazed by the sound i was waiting for a high pitched sound i could get use to, but this blew my mind. Oh and the popping noises it made before on the injen site, it doesnt make those noises after all! Simply quite amazing and u can definetly feel the difference in the pedal. It pushes itself a lot harder at high RPMS, after 4,500 you really feel the sinking in the seat feeling. The craftsmenship on the exhausts is really clean, on the outside of each tip it has a lil badge that is welded on that says "SES stainless exhaust system by Injen" I must say that is a nice attention to detail. I was skeptical at first by the angled tips like everyone else im use to the straight out back tips as well, but this really changed my mind quite a bit. Everyone i've ran into so far really digs the angled tips, majority of them import guru's such as myself. The injen CAI + the injen exhaust really makes a nice song together once everything starts up at high rpms. If anything... i would say spring for the Injen exhaust, its well worth the money and different enough to turn some heads and get some questions and not to mention the sound is amazing

Congrats Johnny. Did the install go smoothly? Any chance you're going to dyno as well?

I think i might go, just to see how i do with a stick at the track, watch we will probably run high 14's to low 15's because they never ever set up the track right. In my lightning i ran a 13.1 at fontana with the same setup, i ran 12.51 at carlsbed just because the track was prepped better.

SEE! We've been telling people for a while now that it's a good exhaust. Glad to hear that you dig it and like the car that much more. Let us know if you have any dyno charts done.

You can't judge the exhaust sound from a standstill. YOu need to hear it under load.

I agree, I just got mine installed today and it sounds amazing. There are some sound clips on overboost.com's website but they dont do it justice. After driving it was like a different car. The car really moves a lot quicker with this exhaust on her. Oh yeah...lol....and install? 30 mins with some guys down the street who seemed a bit confused at first but, ended up doing a nice job. Imagine someone who was installing thier 3-4 one I imagine it would take only like 15 mins.
