Default Popcharger Installation ? UPDATED NEW QUESTION.

So today me and a friend installed my popcharger intake and he insisted we didnt have to install the heat shield and he just installed the filter. To me it dosent look complete it likes halfway done. Is this str8 to leave like this or should i install the heatshield? Biu im not really good at doing engine work but i think i can manage becuase I dont wanna pay a shop to do it. Thanks

You're not going to really get any increase in power without the heat shield. Hot air sucks, install the heat shield.

If you have it, just install it. Better than nothing.

I don't think the heat shield does much but if you have it, just install it.

yep. Its not going to help THAT much, but you might as well put it in since you paid for it, and its not gonna take that long to install it.

If it is supplied then put it on, they don't just put stuff in there for fun. It does help fend off some of the hot air in the engine bay.

Yeah i Just installed it this morning but i have no clue how u are supposed to actually punch the two holes in the snorkel thing so i just left the heatshield in place where it is supposed to be attached and it sits their find with no screws? Is that alright to keep it like that because it looks impossible to get the right angle and make the holes align with eachother.

Also another question, i dont know if im buggin but when i drive it now it seems like when i get into higher gears such as 4th and so on it feels like the power when i hit the gas isnt as strong seems more sluggish all of a sudden after installation? Even in 3rd Gear. Im saying when im at like 40 mph in 4th gear and hit the gas it dosent move as quick..and i never floored it cuz it was quick enough thru dail driving but now wen i floor it, it seems it aint moving as quickly. I dno maybe its just me and not the intake.

those holes are hard to line up but you can do it, just poke them through with something and then screw them.
