No but seriously, you can't "get around it" in Europe. If you don't have cats, you fail. Period.

Lol, maybe it was you who said that they would take the minimal loss in performance to help protect the environment or something like that, but that is something I could definately agree on, lol.

hey guys... so i got the BERK HFCs with the support brackets... And now i need a flexy y-pipe so my nismo wont crack the berks... Im thinking of picking up a used Tanabe y-pipe...
Questions:
1. I know JIC is good, but will the Tanabe y-pipe be as flexy??
2. Will tanabe y pipe fit the nismo exhaust?
thanks

If not, I would go with the JIC.

I won't have any "flexy" areas in my exhaust at all - we'll see how long my cats hold up.

If you search and read (even the rest of this thread i believe) you will see that the nismo exhaust breaks HFCs and TPs due to its un-flexingness (sp? haha)...

BTW, post sound clips when you get these installed, I like to hear these kinds of setups.

Yeah, my Berk's came with the brackets (edit). However, Brian (from Berk) says that it's best to have at least one flex pipe on the y-pipe, yet my Stillen pipe is rigid. We'll see how it works out. Hey, muscle cars back in the 60's were able to go without flex pipes then i'm sure ours can as well.
