Yeah there's always that option. I guess I just have to deal with it since it was my decision to go with this setup. I might go get it installed today.

my berks cracked with STOCK exhaust... whats even more interesting is that they cracked right where the support bracket is attached to the pipe

Interesting. That just confuses me now.

This is what I though prior to reading your quote:
When I installed my Nismo exhaust and Berk HFC and when I got to hold the stock y-pipe, the first thing that jumped at me was that the stock y-pipe has significantly better located flex sections than the Nismo y-pipe. They flex very smoothly and I could understand Nissan put them there to prevent stress on the cats or the engine in general.

But compared to the stock y-pipe, the Nismo y-pipe has poorly located flex sections that do not allow the cats to move up or down. They can only flex left or right...

But I just don't know what it is now. Oh well, it sounds bad@ss!

No. I don't know what your definition of rasp may be, but in my opinion, it does not rasp. Even if it does, it's not much. You wouldn't believe how many comments I have gotten since the install. No regrets here man.

You are not low key even at like, 3k rpms anymore? You're always loud now? What about just normal light cruising?

Just let me tell you guys, my nismo and megan V2 resonated test pipes combo sounds amazing! very little to no rasp and they have the new flex section in the test pipes to prevent cracking. For only $139, the investment is WELL worth it

Update. My new Berks with brackets are doing fine. Only problem is I just found out my Nismo mid-pipe is cracked after the resonator. Guess I need to switch to one of the other y-pipes?
