Right, the Topspeed is way louder, and very obtrusive IMHO. The sound of this is real low and mellow, and it just sounds.. well... awesome

Will do. will make some vids. I have an autox vid which you can hear the ringing that my exhaust has right now. I'll post em both up in same post for comparison. *crossing fingers that this will please me.

That's weird. I haven't heard my exhaust ring at all. For some reason though, when I pull out in 1st and if my rpms go below 1500 I get a rattling noise coming from the mid-back end of my car. I can't figure out what it is for the life of me. Do you have any idea?

The flange that attaches the pass cannister (rear section) on is deadly close to the Differential on mine. @ the autox I heard it rattle against it a few times.

I think the ringing is due to the Kinetix HFC/exhaust combo. but not certain. sounds like a rasp that is making the pipes ring...though I'm not 100% on that.

just got the cxlighting exhaust.. it sounds AWESOME! quality was accually very nice, im impressed.. and ive had 5 different exhausts.. i also have berk test pipes and dont really have too much rasp at all.. this exhaust eats 85% of it up.. fitment was accually very nice... its close to the differential but does not touch.. overall i give it an A! i love it... my only problem is one of the tips is kinda crooked so im gonna call up and ask for some replacements but other than that id go for it.

OK, glad I'm not the only one. So it's the right cannister hitting the drive shaft occasionally. How do I go about fixing this? Got any pics so I know what I'm looking for?

WTX, what flange are you talking about? What does it look like?

Where the rear section of the exhaust(part with the actual muffler and tip) bolts to the center sections...
right next to the rear differential.

luckily my resonators aren't touching the driveshaft...but they might be gone after tomorrow regardless. This new muffler is big...so not too sure where it'll go. just hoping we can make it work.

To those having issues w/ driveshaft. might look into loosening the front...there is lateral adjustment in the flanges...may/may not fix it.

Hm... I'll have to take a look at it tomorrow. Can you describe what the rear differential looks like? I apologize for my ignorance!

Its in teh middle in the rear. Both your axles connect to it, along with the driveshaft.

Thanks for the help guys.

I had it fixed today at the body shop that did my install. They did it without charge and it only took them about half an hour. All is good.

No noise at all, except the sweet growl of VQ through these pipes.

okay guys. after adding the magnaflow x pipe this exhaust is what wet dreams are made of. I love it so much. I'm on a mission today to check to make sure, but I'm pretty certain this is a panty dropping exhaust.
