looks marginally better than my tips. looks like the same exhaust though. tips are hit and miss. Here's a pic of my tips. Flash really kills the blue, so its a bit dark.

But both of my tips are pretty good looking, esp compared to some I've seen on here. and for FYI to anyone who doesn't know mine is from ebayer cxlighting....who is also www.cxracing.com

 

Just another imput on this exhaust.

My friend got this for his G, I personally installed it for him and there were little to no fitment issues (just had to adjust one clamp, but it was easy), Hes had it for a few months now and theres been no problems. This exhaust is definately worth the mere $500 imo.

 

Just FYI i have a used x02 exhaust w/ authentic HKS tips for sale at Performance Factory. The exhaust has NO rust and is in awesome shape.

Hey how did you get the HKS tips to work? From what I've read about this exhaust the HKS tips won't fit. Also has anyone ever thought about getting this exhaust Jet Hott coated? I want a black exhaust so I'm thinking about getting this exhaust Jet Hott coated as soon as I buy it.

Sounds a lot like mine, I have HFC's...added some sound insulation to the trunk cause damn it was loud. not as bad now, but I still may add a magnaflow muffler somewhere midstream.

you have that Ringing sound too. could hear it on your higher revs.

might try headphones...in the vid I can hear it on my work headphones between the seconds 8 and 5. (countdown to end.) its a quiet, metallic sound.

 

with a little massaging they fit


All i had to do was re-drill the holes for them to bolt on and bam, they were golden

Same goes for me, just purchased the CX Lighting on ebay last night also. I'm planning on getting the whole thing Jet Hot Coated in Gloss Black. So I won't worry bout the rust..Still thinking about it though. Anyone with any opinions on how the exhaust would look in black on a Carbon Silver Z?
