Default aem install Problems? Help!

Buddy Installed the aem cai tonight on his sweet looking 350z. Ok install went fine but when he starts it, it kicks over for a second then stalls. Any word of advice on what might be wrong.
Maybe the mass air sensor? Any help would be great. Thanks all!

The MAF sensor is probably facing the wrong way. The section which contains the MAF should be facing toward the manifold, and the section to which the MAF is bolted should be towards the air filter. Also, the MAF sensor should be as upright as possible (it can't stick up perfectly straight or it will rub on the hood).

I had the exact same problem with my 90 supra, i disconected and polished the mass airflow sensor, then i hooked it back up and it didnt work, so even though the 7M-GTE is an old outdated engine the ecu tried to adjust itself to run with broken mass sensor, so the car ran fine for about 10 min but u would have to try to keep it running after that, turns out that i had messed up a flap in the damn thing when i was polishing it.
moral is do not polish it and dont **** with it

Default did you unhook battery?

If the Air Flow Sensor is mounted correctly, unhook the negative lead from the battery for about 30 minutes, re-attach and re-start the car, should run better.
