Default Obx 3/4" Spacer

Tried the "search button" on the forum to know more about the 3/4" OBX spacer with no luck...

Do you have any idea if this one will clear the standard Nissan 350Z tower bar?

As seen on ebay...

Blox Racing

Intake Manifold Spacer

VQ35- 03-05 Nissan 350z/ Infiniti G35

3/4" thickness
Helps increase manifold's capacity and lowers intake air temp.
Power and throttle response also increases
Made out of Thermal Polymer
Easily installs between the factory intake manifold
Part# BXIM-40200

Why is this so cheap compared to other spacers (e.g. MD) ??

It can be purchased for $89.95 on ebay and many other sites.

Anyone using it on here?

Thanks, Zsan

WTF? I've never heard of it but if the 1/2" spacer won't clear without spacers, I'd imagine a 3/4" wouldn't fit even with spacers on there without the strut bar touching the hood.

i agree, that shat is garbage.

Sooner or later you will learn, you get what you pay for usually. If saving a $100 is worth doing it twice, then hell yeah, good pick mang.

It's a spacer, not a turbocharger... It's an inanimate piece of plastic that you put between two pieces of metal. As long as the surface is flat then I don't see why it wouldn't work just fine.

I'd try it out but I didn't have better things to spend money on.

Read the dyno graphs at Motordyne. Not only is 3/4" too thick to fit under the oem bar, it creates too much volume in the intake. It's not an optimum thickness.

I'm pretty sure it's not 3/4"... the BLOX spacer is 1/2". Unless they make two, but I doubt it. would 3/4" even clear the hood?
