I'm assuming the OP is asking about the regular Concept G, not the Concept G Blue. The regular is rated to stay under 93dB. My Super Medalion Hyper is rated to stay under 95dB and I don't feel the Super Medalion Hyper is THAT loud. Definitely louder than stock though.

I never heard nor saw a Concept G, but as a product of Tanabe, I would guess it is top notch quality. Great fitment. If the muffler design/materials are similar or the same as the Super Medalion Hyper, then I would expect it to retain the VQ sound adding a throatiness that all Tanabe owners would know what I'm talking about.

My friend has the one with the little fat canisters, which I was sure was the concept G. stock cats, that sh*t is LOUD.

But great quality. Personally I like loud exhausts, but I couldn't imagine what it would sound like with test pipes.

EDIT: This is it right here: http://www.intensepower.com/tacogex35fco.html

For tanabe, I'd rather have the medalion touring or ultra medalion. Much better looking exhausts.

What exhaust do you have? I had the JIC DE Spartan Type I full Ti, LOUD. Honestly my friend with the concept G exhaust is just as loud, but the Ti is more exotic sounding.

Not sure about the difference beteen the medallion and the ultra, but they both look alot nicer than the concept g.

I had the concept G on my civic.. Granted a civic si and a 350z are diff. It's NOT LOUD for an exhaust. Whoever said it was is mixing up there exhausts. Tanabe makes alot louder exhausts then the concept G. I had NO rice with that exhaust when I had it on my si when it was NA and turbo.. Sounds mean and deep. I really liked it. Go to the website and listen to the soundclips. It sound close to it but deeper in person. I would DEF be gettin it for my Z but I'm going fast intentions true dual.

Here's what I know.....

Medalion Touring - 93dB, stainless, beveled double wall tips.

Medalion Hyper - 95dB, stainless, single tips.

Medalion Ultra - 95dB, titanium, not sure on the tips.

Most info on these exhausts is here:
