2. Nismo
3. TurboXS
4. Greddy EvoTT
5. HKS Hi-Power

Now, after spending that kind of money and time - not to mention my own labor into switching exhausts - on finding the perfect one, do you really think I'd install a POS fart-can exhaust on my car?
I saw it after I posted! lol

I might consider HKS thanks.

You must have heard the HKS knock off Seriously, I was skeptical and I was unsure...but once I got a ride in my friend's car with the HKS, it sold itself. Within a 24 hours timeframe I bought and installed the HKS and sold my Greddy EvoTT (a very sexy and beautiful exhaust as well)

If you want to keep the stock exhaust but get a bit louder you can try either test pipes or high flow cats depending on what state you live in.

Both will cost about half if not less then what an exhaust will cost you.

plus you'll keep your stock sound but open it up a bit. I was thinking about doing this.

SGP Racing said they would sell me one for $985...

I'm just going to go with some resonated test pipes though.

so you take the word of the first person who tells you what an exhaust SOUNDS LIKE... over the INTERNET... doesn't seem to make sense to me.

if I told you the nismo exhaust makes the VQ35 sound like a V12 Ferrari would you believe me? Because it's been stated before.

I thought the VQ35DE was from a Ferrari.

you need to stop listening to these videos, they can drive you mad when trying to decide on an exhaust.

Personally Ive heard at last yrs Z meet a few exhausts, HKS, stillen, nismo, and borla and hands down for me anyways Borla was the best sounding exhaust.

so i say go to a local meet and listen to some notes yourself in person

Agreed. But it is fun to discuss/argue about it . I have had the Nismo, the HKS, and the Turbo XS all with and without HFC's. The Turbo XS had rasp even with the silencers in. It was extremely loud with them out. HKS did not rasp at all with HFC's. It has a nice sound and great looks. The clips (as stated above) don't really do it justice. My favorite though is the Nismo with HFC's. I am just in love with the sound...

As everyone has said, try to hear them in person if you can.
