I just ordered and installed the hi-flow cats from Kinetix Racing... pretty good price, quick delivery and easy to install... much less restictive than the OEM junk and the workmanship on them is high quality.... +1 for the guys at Kinetix.

I ordered the plenum and cats together... they have a pretty good deal on them as a combo right now.

Only thing that you have to look out for while installing the cats is that the two OEM 02 sensors in the cats were badly seized in there due to Nissan not bothering to use anti-seize on them. i ended up getting one out very carefully... but had to replace the other one since it ws badly stripped to get it out.

OP,
I think chebosto did a review on the HFC's. You may want to search for that thread.

I went with the BERK hfc's, price point was great and the finished product was excellent.

Edit: found chebosto's write up. It may prove useful to you

I had Kinetix High-flow catelitic converters. Lasted 22,600 miles before one developed an unbearable rattle inside. Replaced with Helix SS Test Pipes.

AAM racing cats are the next best thing to no cats, but they're not cheap. So far no problems at all, just kick-***. Yes, the exhaust gets noticeably louder with HFCs.

i had the random tech hf cats.. then the crawford hf cats for a bit... and finally ended up with some labree resonated test pipes.
the test pipes by far had the best feel performance wise, and being resonated it didnt sound much different then the hfcs.

if ur after performance, i suggest u skip hfcs and go for test pipes. (don't waste time or $$ like i did )

i have my labrees up for sale (see sig for link).
only reason i took off the test pipes were due to emissions. (not sure how strict FL is)

And I did the opposite. Had Labree resonated test pipes and they were way too loud for me so i went with the HFC's. I guess its a matter of personal preference

like u said its all personal taste...
i loved the way the labrees sound and perform and i wish i could leave em on. but emission is coming up and i picked up an e92, so the z gets a lot of beauty rest nowadays.

I put on the Berk ceramic HFCs on my car today to go with the Nismo I already had. I heard some say this was a good combo for the Nismo and they are right as far as the 50 miles Idrove today. The car seems to rev smoother to redline. I never really thought it was rough up to redline until I installed thes. The car has added some get up and I am nothing but pleased. I am going to put a set of the metallics on my coupe as soon as I get the chance.
